What it is
A structured look at where AI fits in your business — and where it does not.
Most businesses know they should be doing something with AI but do not know where to start. The AI Audit solves that. In a short, focused engagement we map your operations, look at what you already pay for, talk to the people who actually do the work, and write up an honest assessment of where AI would earn its keep first.
We are not a reseller. We are not selling a platform. The audit is the work, and the deliverable belongs to you — hand it to your in-house team, another consultancy, or keep it on the shelf. There is no obligation to hire us for what comes next.
The fee is $499, paid up front, and it includes both the written assessment and roadmap and twelve months of access to our online course catalog — around forty-three courses across Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, Operations, and Leadership AI. The map plus the materials to execute it. If you go on to book any AI Wannabe service, workshop, or training within twelve months, the full $499 is credited against that engagement.
What it looks at
Operations
How work moves through the business today: who owns what, where the handoffs are, where things stall.
Tools
What you already pay for, what is connected, and where the integration gaps are creating real cost.
Customer-facing work
Sales, support, onboarding — the moments where AI most often pays for itself first.
Internal work
Reporting, meetings, knowledge that lives in someone’s head, the recurring drag on senior time.
Risk & compliance
Where AI would touch customer data, regulated workflows, or decisions that need a human in the loop.
Skills & adoption
What your team can run with today, what they cannot, and what training would close the gap.
What you receive
- 01
Written assessment
A short, plainly written report. No 60-page deck. The reader is the operator who has to decide.
- 02
Prioritized roadmap
A scored, sequenced list: what to do first, what comes next, and what to deliberately not do.
- 03
Cost projection
Transparent numbers — API usage, subscriptions, expected build cost for each priority item.
- 04
Live readout
A 60–90 minute walkthrough with your leadership team. Q&A and adjustments on the spot.
Who it is for
- Owners and operators of businesses doing $1M–$100M who want a clear answer before spending on AI.
- Leadership teams whose org is "doing AI" in pockets and wants a single, honest read of where it actually fits.
- Operators who have tried a tool or two, were underwhelmed, and suspect the problem is sequencing rather than the technology.
- Anyone whose vendor told them they need a platform and they want a second opinion before signing.
Begin the audit
One fee. The map plus the materials to run it.
$499 up front. You get the written assessment and roadmap plus twelve months of access to our full online course catalog — so the team that executes the roadmap has the training to do it. The deliverable belongs to you. The full $499 is credited toward any AI Wannabe service, workshop, or training you book within twelve months.
What happens after
Run it yourself.
The deliverable is yours. Take the roadmap to your team or your existing vendor and execute. We’re happy to answer one-off questions while you do.
Engage us for implementation.
If a priority item is the right fit for our build practice, we’ll quote it. The audit credit applies. No pressure to continue.
Train the team and stop there.
Sometimes the right next move is teaching the people you already have. We can deliver a workshop or course bundle scoped to the roadmap.
Frequently asked
- How long does it take?
- Two to three weeks from kickoff to final readout. Most of the elapsed time is interview scheduling, not analysis.
- Do you require any tools or platforms?
- No. We are vendor-neutral. The recommendation is what we would do if it were our money — including "use what you already have."
- What does it cost — and what do I get for $499?
- You get the written assessment and roadmap from our team, plus twelve months of access to our online course catalog (around forty-three courses across Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, Operations, and Leadership AI). Read: you have both the map and the materials to execute it yourself. If you go on to book any AI Wannabe service, workshop, or training within twelve months, the full $499 is credited against that engagement.
- Do we have to hire AI Wannabe afterward?
- No. The audit is the work. You leave with a written assessment, a roadmap, and a year of training material your team can use to run it. Hand the package to your in-house team, another consultancy, or just keep it. We are happy to be hired for what comes next, but the deliverable does not require it.
- Who from our team needs to be involved?
- A leadership sponsor for kickoff and readout. Three to five operators for short interviews. We do not need a project manager assigned to us.
- Will you tell us not to do something?
- Frequently. About a third of audits end with "stop, the better move is to fix the workflow before adding AI." That is a successful audit.
